This is a ceramic pipe (kiseru) made by the renowned Mino ware kiln, "Kato Kohei Kiln."

Kato Kohei Kiln is a leading Mino pottery studio, known for its Shino, Oribe, and Kiseido ware, and is highly regarded both domestically and internationally for its tea ceremony ceramics and crafts.

This particular piece is a ceramic pipe with a green glaze and painted design, possessing an elegant appearance. It is in excellent condition and comes with its original box and instructions.

It is perfect not only as a decorative tea ceremony utensil or smoking accessory, but also as a striking interior decoration.

There are no signs of use, and while there is some crazing characteristic of ceramics due to long-term storage, this can be enjoyed as part of its unique character.

Both the wooden box and instruction manual are in good condition.
