From the Pal Cutlery Co. Which made these knives from 1945 to 1952. Steel is in great shape. Very tight action and NO slip or slop. Even after 80 years, it's still in better condition than many new knives. Edges have been custom hand sharpened to give an edge much sharper than even a new factory edge.

The knife has been cleaned up, but I left much of the natural decades old patina which actually protects carbon steel from rust and corrosion. It could easily be removed if one desired.

Overall, this is an excellent knife, the quality of which surpasses build quality in even today's premium knife models.  It should easily last another 80 years.
