When PDEs migrate, a pure seal repair is often no longer enough.
On 1.9 TDI and 2.0 TDI pump-nozzle engines, the pump-nozzle elements can move due to vibration, mileage and load in the cylinder head or work into the sealing surfaces. As a result, the sealing rings no longer fit optimally, the seal deteriorates and typical PDE problems can arise.

These symptoms may indicate wandering or leaking PDEs
Many drivers look not for PDE body brackets at first but for the symptoms of: poor start, jerking, loss of performance, or rising oil levels. These are exactly the signs that can occur when the pump-nozzle elements in the cylinder head no longer sit cleanly, move minimally, or the gaskets stop sealing reliably.
Starting difficulties cold or warm
The engine starts worse in the morning, after prolonged service or even in warm condition. Often organizing longer until the TDI runs clean.
Out-of-round engine running and jerking

The ORIGINAL 07eins PDE body holders were developed as a mechanical solution to typical problems on pump-nozzle TDI engines. They stabilize the pump-nozzle elements where movement and load occur: directly on the PDE body.
The system is designed as a practical repair solution and allows additional fixing of the PDEs without mechanical processing of the cylinder head. This makes it suitable both for repairing existing problems and for preventive stabilization.
In many cases, newly stabilized PDEs can seal better even with already damaged sealing surfaces. However, the effectiveness always depends on the condition and existing pre-damage to the seats.
