*The 7th image is a magnified view of the internal paintwork after removing the pump plunger from the tank.
*The discoloration on the top of the tank visible in the OH images is burn marks from a gas leak from the valve assembly. This is a genuine "Goldbond 200A" and is in relatively good condition.
This item was manufactured in February 1973. The globe is red Pyrex (MADE IN U.S.A). The ventilator and tank have age-appropriate paint loss and minor scratches, but there is no evidence of repainting. It is a collector's item with limited availability on the market.
*In April 2021, a professional overhaul was performed, removing rust and dirt. (It has an old-fashioned feel, but is beautifully finished.) The frame has been painted with heat-resistant paint, all parts were disassembled and cleaned, deteriorated consumables were replaced with new ones, and it was carefully reassembled.
*In good working order! While a combustion test has not been performed, pumping pressurizes OK, there are no leaks, and a sound of air being supplied is heard when the valve is opened. (This unit was used for display purposes rather than practical use, but it has been overhauled and is now fully functional.)
