Vintage yellow crackle glass vase featuring a dramatic flared trumpet form and textured ice-glass surface. The crackle effect was created by rapidly cooling hot glass and reheating it, producing the distinctive network of internal fractures that reflect light beautifully.
The glass reacts strongly under ultraviolet light due to uranium oxide used in the glass formula, producing the vivid green glow sought after by collectors of uranium and vaseline glass.
This sculptural form works well as a small vase or decorative display piece and shows striking texture and color in both natural and UV lighting.
Good vintage condition overall. Three small chips are present along the rim as shown in the photos. No cracks or repairs observed. The textured crackle surface and bright yellow color remain very attractive for display.
