Q: How does it work?

A: Our gradual-release pellets sink to the bottom of your pond and dissolve, slowly releasing concentrated enzymes & bacteria that digest organic waste and eat away at the muck layer, up to 2 inches per month!

Q: How much do I need to use?

A: Use 1 scoop (half a pound) for every 1000 sqft of treatment area. The instructions on the back of the bucket explain exactly how to calculate.

Q: Can I use a higher dose so it will work faster?

A: Using a higher dose could deplete the dissolved oxygen levels in the water, which could potentially kill some fish. However, our instructions do offer a more aggressive treatment option by treating the area twice a month (two weeks apart) instead of once a month.

Q: How long does it take to work?

A: This is not a quick-fix solution, but with consistent treatment, you'll notice significant improvement over time, up to 2 inches per month.

Q: Where does the sludge go? Does it just disappear?

A: Well, yes, sort of! Technically speaking, the byproducts are carbon dioxide (little gas bubbles) and water.

Q: Does the pond need to be at a certain water temperature?

A: Use only when water temperature is 50°F or higher.
