We are thrilled and honoured to be offering for sale a number of items from the late Stan Tracey's own personal collection on behalf of his son Clark Tracey. This includes many extremely rare albums, some purchased by Stan during his time in New York, plus test pressings and other gems collected over his lifetime as a musician and composer.
Joe Henderson - Tetragon, a 1972 US reissue of the original 1968 release.
Released on the Milestone label MSP 9017.
Degritter cleaned, the vinyl has retained a wonderful glossy lustre with no real marks worth mentioning - a few faint "cloudy" areas which make no impact on playback.
Clean labels and spindle holes - graded NM.
Playtest reveals a warm, vibrant and very detailed sound with immediacy and presence.
It plays through beautifully with no issues.
The sleeve is clean & solid overall with some wear/flaking to the spine area in particular ( see photos) plus the usual age related corner rubbing.
No writing, stains, tears, splits or tape repairs.
The original paper inner sleeve is present. We have decanted the record into a new poly lined inner to keep it pristine after cleaning - you will receive both.
Record will be sent separated out to prevent transit splits.
We have taken lots of photos in good natural daylight so you can see exactly what you are buying. Please take a moment to look at the photos as they form part of the description. We are pleased to answer any questions you may have.
Selling many other jazz vinyl rarities on separate listings including other items from The Stan Tracey Collection.
