This is a heavy duty, near solid metal, vintage, sewing machine from Singer. It is model number 3013 from the Merritt series. There are so many wonderful features about this machine. It has several built-in stitches and easily changes from straight stitch to zigzag with the turn of the dial. It has a built-in metal bobbin winder. The machine is very easy to thread and operate.

It comes with the extra wide foot pedal and electrical cord, as well as a tape measure, seam ripper, extra bobbin, extra needle, and a needle threader.

This machine is heavy duty and will easily handle denim, canvas, and leather, using a leather needle. When they say “they don’t make them like they used to“ they are talking about machines like this.
