Crystal Blue Explosion

This tall, hand-thrown porcelain vessel carries a long, narrow neck that rises into a slender horned rim before opening into broad shoulders and tapering to a refined narrow base. The form is elegant and controlled — a classic silhouette designed to elevate height and presence.

The glaze begins in deep black, with areas of open darkness visible near the rim, along the neck, and across the shoulder. From that foundation, the surface erupts into a dense field of blue crystalline growth. The effect is a true crystal explosion, layered, overlapping formations that dominate the body while allowing glimpses of black to breathe through the composition. The contrast between structured form and explosive glaze gives the piece its tension and character.

Double fired to cone 10, the crystalline development occurred naturally in the kiln, making this surface entirely one of a kind. This is the tallest vessel currently offered in this series and commands attention in any setting.
