Vintage Gold Gilt Bird Trinket or Pill Box with Blue Stone Eyes

A gold gilt metal pill box shaped like a bird with bright blue eyes. 
The back is hinged and spring-loaded, and opens by pressing the tail.

It measures approximately 3cm high x 5.1 cm wide x 2.8cm deep.

It is in good condition for its age, with visible signs of age and usage (with minor dings and scratches).
