A green transfer ware English Ironstone Tableware Ltd soup plate or pasta bowl decorated in 'The Highway Man' pattern from the 'The Old Inns' series, c1973-1994. The printed backstamp reads 'Old Inn Series Genuine Hand engraved Acid And Detergent Proof Made by English Ironstone Tableware Limited England'.
In excellent vintage condition, glossy and bright with minimal to no wear. From production there's a tiny white patch on the rim where the transfer print has missed. Please see photos for more detail.
