This week I'm offering a number of old science fiction digest magazines from the Fifties to the present. When the smaller, more "high class" digest-sized magazines replaced the pulps in the years after World War Two, it ushered in what many believe was the Golden Age of Science Fiction. SF magazines multiplied rapidly, and a lot of good storytelling was available to eager readers. The magazines I'm selling this week are terrific reading copies - they've been handled, so don't expect them to be pristine and mint. Most show signs of handling, such as minor cover creases, surface wear, stains, mild yellowing of pages and some chipping. Some are in better condition, and I've tried to make note of any heavier condition flaws. SEE SCAN FOR CONDITION!! These old magazines are highly collectible and sought after by fans. This is the November 1959 issue of IF: Worlds of Science Fiction, one of the most consistently top quality SF magazines of the Fifties and Sixties. For most of its run, IF was the sister publication of Galaxy, generally regarded as one of the finest SF publications of its time. This copy is in generally nice condition. The price is about what a copy of a current magazine would cost you on the newsstand today! This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping will be combined for multiple purchases.
