Official match programme from the Middlesbrough v Bradford City, Division Two fixture played at Ayresome Park on Saturday 27th February, 1988. The Bantams won the match 2-1. The two clubs went on to meet in the end of season Play-Off Semi-Final and Boro progressed and then famously beat Chelsea in the two-legged Play-Off Final to reach Division One under manager Bruce Rioch and secure their second successive promotion.  Programmes from this historic season are now sought after.

The large glossy 24-page colour programme is in excellent condition for its near 40 years. It has no writing, folds, tears, staple rust, staple holes or punch holes. It does have some light creasing in limited places (mainly to the spine) and some very light and minor marking to the front and rear covers (barely noticeable). These are minor points that do not significantly affect the overall condition of the programme. Please see the attached sample scans in conjunction with this written description.

Please note my low postage costs (face value only at £0.87) and very low "Buy it Now" price of £2.35 for what is a sought after programme from a historic Middlesbrough FC season and nearly four decades old.

I am in the process of listing my extensive and eclectic collection of football programmes, tickets and memorabilia on eBay. This includes countless Middlesbrough items and a good selection of Plymouth Argyle material. Please check on my other items if interested.
