Hi! You're looking at a great condition book which is a classic 1934 novel of the Civil War in Natchez, Mississippi written by author STARK YOUNG--the book is an early 1934 printing published by Charles Scribner's Sons and a HARDCOVER with no dustjacket. This book is in great condition and has light convex bowing on the covers, a very light forward list of the spine edge, a few slight discolored spots on the cloth cover, an owner's name and date on the upper board and owner's name on the center of the blank first page, slight exposure of the binding cheesecloth between the blank second and third pages and third and second to last blank pages with NO loose pages, a light ding and a couple of tiny frayed spots on the lower spine tip and very light dings on the upper spine tip and opening tips, light dings and tiny tears on the upper and lower center edges of a few of the book's pages a newspaper photograph of the author between the second and last blank last pages with some tanning of the adjacent pages and just light shelfwear and light evidence of gentle browsing but no other significant imperfections!  The book is titled So Red the Rose and it was written by STARK YOUNG; it was published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1934.

A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book!
