Peavey Classic 20 from ca. 1994. This is a US-made, 15-watt all-tube 10” combo.

This amp has a fantastic “Mississippi tweed” tone perfect for blues, rock and slide guitar. It breaks up early, offering a range of warm vintage sounds from edge of break up to gnarly overdriven tones - all at acceptable volumes.

It is in very good condition with no major blemishes to the tweed. There are very light signs of corrosion in some parts of the chrome on the back of the amp, as expected for its age. Everything is original.

All the tubes were replaced recently. It uses two 12AX7 preamp tubes and two EL83 power amp tubes. It is cathode biased, allowing you to change the tubes with no messing around - just plug and play!

It is small, very portable (weighing around 11 kg) and loud enough for open mic nights/small gigs. There is also an external speaker jack if you want to play it through a larger cabinet.

The screw-on Peavey logo on the grill can be easily removed, if you prefer a more vintage look (personally I always liked the contrast in styles).

This is a smashing little amp and I will be sad to see it go!
