This legendary buzzbait, known for its MAX squealing sound and now trades for high prices on auction sites, is back with a Teckel remake.
The brass nut fixed in the center of the buzzbait provides a weedless effect and creates frictional resistance strong enough to wear down the aluminum propeller, resulting in the most squealing sound possible.
The 1.0mm thick anodized aluminum propeller generates powerful rotation with plenty of torque, and when it strikes the brass ball atop the head collar, it produces an even louder contact sound and head vibration.
Wire shaft diameter: 1.2mm, head weights: 1/2oz.
Note: The Max Squeaker produces the best squealing sound when new.
The "raising" effect often seen with other buzzbaits, achieved by spinning them at high speeds in the air for extended periods of time, is counterproductive. This increases the contact point between the aluminum propeller and the brass nut.
