Dräger PSS 7000 SCBA – NFPA 2018 Edition – Sentinel 7000

The Dräger PSS 7000 is a high-performance SCBA designed for superior comfort, durability, and mobility in demanding environments. This unit is the NFPA 2018 edition and had its last flow test in May 2025.

Its innovative harness system positions weight lower on the hips for improved balance and reduced fatigue. The adjustable suspension harness features durable webbing and advanced compression-molded padding with excellent abrasion resistance. Cooling channels in the shoulder straps and waist belt enhance comfort, while the anti-slip inner surface keeps the unit secure without over-tightening.

The ergonomic, three-position carbon-fiber composite backplate pivots and adjusts to mirror wearer movement, allowing unrestricted mobility while walking, crawling, or climbing. Integrated air hoses and electronics reduce snag hazards and improve durability. The slide-and-lock harness system allows quick attachment or removal without tools.

The included Dräger Sentinel 7000 electronic monitoring system provides real-time digital pressure readings, PASS device functionality, audible and visual alarms, automatic self-tests, data logging, and user-configurable settings. Components are housed in impact- and water-resistant casings for reliability in harsh conditions.
