The Fitbit Alta is a slim, daily activity tracker that automatically measures steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, active minutes, and sleep duration. It features hourly, sedentary-friendly "reminders to move" and uses SmartTrack to automatically recognize workouts like walking, running, and biking. This is the basic model and does not measure heart rate. 

Purchased several years ago and never opened, it works on a li-ion battery which may not have the same level of performance as when new so the item is being sold AS-IS.  The Fitbit Alta was discontinued in 2019 and no longer receives official support or updates from Fitbit. Great for someone curious about how an activity tracker would work for them without the expense of all the latest features.
