The obverse bears a beautiful design by Canadian artist Maurice Gervais that features a Venetian Glass Leopard Frog that is handcrafted by Giuliano Donaggio, a master glass maker in Murano, Italy. The frog is sitting on the pad of an engraved and painted yellow pond lily. The reverse features the effigy of Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.
