• 2.Installation method: A. Boil the tire in 90-100 degrees boiling water for about 15 minutes. B. After 15 minutes, take out a tire for installation. Insert the tire into the wheel hub slot and tie it up with a cable tie. C. Tie both sides of the tire to the maximum range that can be installed. Then use a crowbar to lift the tire into the wheel hub slot in turn. D. Installation is complete. Please wear gloves when operating to avoid burns.
• 3.Compatibility: This tire is a Polyurethane Tire with an elastic cord inside the tire. It is compatible with all 8, 9 rib 24-inch wheelchair plastic rear wheels on the market, including Heavy-Duty Wheelchair.
• 4.NOTE: The diameter of the inner ring of the tire before installation is between 19-21.5". Solid wheelchair tires are intentionally made smaller than the wheelchair rim so that they will not fall off once installed. The main complaint most customers have when installing a solid tire is the force required to stretch it onto the wheelchair rim. The correct installation method is very easy to install the tire onto the wheel hub.

This tire fits many wheelchair rims with PLASTIC SPOKES for wheelchair manufacturers like Drive, Medline, E&J, I-nva-care Tracers and many others. Always check your rim and see if there is a hole for valve stem. If NOT this tire will fit on it. The main complaint most customers have while installing a solid tire is the amount of force needed to stretch it onto a wheelchair rim. Uninstalled, this tire is roughly 19-21.5 in diameter making it the largest uninstalled tire we currently sell with the pyramid design. It also has stretchier cords inside the tire. Being larger uninstalled with the stretchier cords means there is less stretching involved to install the tire onto the wheelchair rim. A solid wheelchair tire installation tool is still required, but the effort needed to turn the wheel on the tool will be much less. This tire can be used on Drive, Medine, I-nva-care, Everest & Jennings (E&J), Breezy, or any other wheelchair rim that calls for a 24 x 1 inch pyramid shaped tire.Installation Note:Installing these tires onto a wheelchair rim can be very challenging without the proper tools.
