Large Vintage Hand-painted Lario Majiolica Collectible Bowl. Hand-crafted with a distressed, tin-glaze, cream color background upon which a delicate floral motif is hand-painted. In the distress marks a coral color shines through. Beautiful. The wide rim has a scribbly design in three places suggestive of a signature. The earthenware has a rustic yet charming feel. Majiolica originated in Italy. This particular piece is signed Lario on the back suggesting it was made in Murcia Spain.
