1951 Longines Gents Wristwatch – FULL SET Box & Original Receipt – Cal. 12.68 – UK Dennison Case
Offered for sale is a truly rare, fully documented vintage Longines, dating to 1951, and still accompanied by its original jeweller’s presentation box and original handwritten purchase receipt.
This is a correct UK-market Longines, supplied through Baume & Co. and housed in a Dennison “Denisteel” case, exactly as these watches were sold in Britain in the early 1950s.

The dial is original and unrestored, showing even, honest ageing consistent with its age. Case has not been polished, retaining original shape, edges, and metal thickness. The rear of the lugs shows original Dennison factory / assembly stamps, a known and documented feature of UK-made Dennison cases from this period. These shallow hand-stamped marks are typical and further confirm originality. Movement is complete and running, but due a service (timekeeping currently fast, as expected for an unserviced vintage watch). Nothing refinished, nothing hidden.
Finding a vintage Longines is not difficult. Finding one with: its original 1951 purchase receipt, original retailer’s presentation box, correct UK Dennison case, untouched original dial, and preserved factory case marks is genuinely rare. This is the type of watch that appeals to serious collectors and enthusiasts, not speculators — a watch with real history, provenance, and integrity.
Sold as a vintage mechanical watch. Service recommended before regular wear. No polishing, refinishing, or restoration has been carried out — originality has been preserved.
