A deliciously ambiguous mixed media work by contemporary artist Bianca Leeroy. Leeroy's work has been collected by a number of well-known artists and movers and shakers in the art world. These works seem to be very much works about pareiolia and Gestalt perception. They are deliciously indeterminate, but rhythmic and hallucinogenic. This one is a titled "Beckett" and the asemic nature of the construction seems appropriate for the author.  The artist has titled and signed in teal pencil on the reverse. I noted that the drawing has been sealed (varnished) as would be appropriate with charcoal drawing among the media. This is an original, one of a kind work on paper and not a print. This one measures approximately 9 x 12 inches. When I asked AI for contemporary artists whose work this resembles, it suggested works by Julie Mehretu, Jordi Secale Roure and Suk Ranhi.
