The Times Red Cross Story Book + Postcard: featuring FIRST EDITION* stories by . . .
R Austin Freeman - A.E.W. Mason - A.A. Milne et al
[1915] - UK hardback first edition, first impression in dust jacket
Published in London by Hodder & Stoughton
Incredibly, original publishers postcard laid loosely inside 110 years later !
*Checking the British library etc the Freeman & Mason etc look to be first appearances

More Crime Fiction to Come

The book has no names, inscriptions or stamps etc,
The text block is tight & square, age toning to prelims and edges
Unusually, no mottling to boards as so often seen with Hodder
A solid example

The original dust jacket is unclipped, "dusty" rear panel
Shallow loss around spine, a couple of short closed tears
General shelf rubs to extremities, light age tan to rear panel - please see images
Comes with removable film cover (may spoil/cause reflections in images)

Obviously very rare to find a 110 year old book still with dust jacket (and postcard)
My own (long-term) copy from my crime fiction collection
