- Traditional Japanese porcelain small lidded jar. Kutani ware akae style characterized by intricate designs painted in vivid iron red and gold tones. This piece includes detailed depictions of wise old men, flowers, leaves, a dragon and geometric deigns.

- Old piece dating to the 1800s. Mark os artisan on base.

- Good overall condition. There is a small chip on the base and light surface wear to painted designs, but these are predominately well preserved. Some crazing visible on cream base porcelain. See photos for more detail.
