Rene Lalique Chantilly pieces purchased in Paris, by a WWII, Jewish American Service Member, stationed in Europe, to send home to his sister. That sister’s daughter is now offering them as part of a consignment. The Chantilly pattern was designed by Rene Lalique circa 1942 during the height of the German Occupation of France.
The set offered here is a rare chance to acquire 4 candle sticks and 2 coupe, serving bowls, all with the same signature, in superb, vintage condition. The care that these items have received is exceptional. Only a few scratches are visible and some minor signs of wear on the candle holders. This set, with its art deco fern detailing, is the perfect art glass for completing a festive, holiday table.
Included in the Set:
Four 4.25” x 4.25” x 2” Candle holders
Two 10.5” x 2” Octagonal Coupes (Bowls)
All original, single family owned for the past 80 years. The set was researched on the rlalique website, where they stated that there are no known copies of these pieces. The signatures were checked against their examples.
Your Rene Lalique set will ship double boxed, with all pieces individually boxed, with full insurance.
