Faithfully restored, the entire cabinet was sanded bare and introduced to a single light coat of gel stain in cognac before being sealed with three gentle coats of polyurethane. 

The colors and grain pattern of the original wood come to life. Combined with the original knobs and nearly flawless original speaker fabric, the face of the unit grabs attention, and compliments.

The unit has been updated and made functional with a blue tooth receiver, making your favorite music just a phone click away. The entire and complete chassis (that functioned before restoration)has been maintained for anyone who would like to restore the radio's original AM function. Only a single tube was removed to accommodate the Bluetooth, and it is included.

Although restored, this radio is still 100 years old and is not showroom new. The original knobs have taken on a purely decorative role, as the Bluetooth is turned on from behind the unit and controlled by a phone.
