Victorian J. McPherson & Co. Hamilton Unworn Brown Leather High Button Boots Shoes

This pair of antique Victorian era J. McPherson & Co. Hamilton unworn brown leather high button boots shoes dates from the 1870s. They are made of a dark brown leather with decorative perforated V front toe trim. These beautiful boots have squared toes, scalloped sides with the original 11 black shoe buttons for closure, lined in a yellow, orange polka dot calico cotton fabric, low stacked wooden cube heels and are stamped "J. McPherson & Co. Hamilton" on the bottom leather soles. The boots measure 7 1/2 inches tall, 9 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide, with 1 inch high heel. They are in good unworn condition, vintage deadstock, with only some slight fade discoloration and scuffs, creases on the leather from display, storage. These are truly a wonderful piece of wearable quality made antique Victoriana shoe art!
