A new commemorative stamp book in honour of the world’s first adhesive postage stamp, the Penny Black, issued in May 1840. 

Contains four self-adhesive First Class stamps which reprise the original Penny Black stamp, and featuring a profile of Queen Victoria based on William Wyon’s City Medal.
