All injectors are serviced as stated below:
OHM Tested for electrical shorts
Disassembled and externally cleaned
Checked for any major cosmetic damage
Internally cleaned via numerous ultrasonic baths using special non-hazardous solutions.
Back-flushed to remove any internal debris (multi-step process)
Pressure/Leak tested, Spray/Flow Tested
Carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival
Installation:
Step 1: Remove the spark plug.
Step 2: Install the emissions tester hose in the cylinder.
Step 3: Observe the hydrocarbon (HC) value, duration approx. 5 mins per cylinder. (prerequisite: inlet valve open)
Step 4: If the HC value in the cylinder rises, the injector is leaky.
Step 5: Replace the faulty injectors with new ones.
Installation suggestion:
All seals and O-rings must be lubricated before installation.
We strongly advise that any vehicle element be installed by a qualified mechanic. We are not liable for any damages incurred as a result of faulty installation.
