I grew up on a chicken farm. I've looked into the eyes of many birds.. these birds are alive! they are so well detailed that I can almost see them following me expecting me to throw them their morning feed.

the outside dimension is 6.5 by 4.5... what's really really a nice Plus for this set is the embossed paper.. rather than matting board they are framed by the embossments.

yes it looks like one of them was either too close to some heat or maybe had been wet sometime within the past 100 years?? funny thing is.. it does not in any way at all detract from the craftsmanship

each of these is under glass and framed by a beaded oak frame.
