Available for your consideration is this pair of traditional Chinese landscape ink wash paintings, known as Shan Shui, from China. Made on silk with ink and watercolor , these original pieces showcase this traditional Chinese art style.

These landscape oriented pieces measures 17 inches x 13.5 inches . In the upper right corner is some Chinese script as well as a red stamp - known as a chop mark , this is the artist’s seal.

Currently both are in wood gilt frames that measure 17” x 13” with the inside of frames measuring 15 x 11.

To me it appears that these have been re-framed at one time ( and to me it also would seem the next owner may want to frame them again , but definitely it’s not necessary ) other than this - I see no issues or problems with the pieces at all .

They’re truly stunning and unfortunately the pictures do not do them true justice.
