45x10mm Crucible Mould for Gold, Silver, Copper, Brass Melting
What is this?
This is a graphite ingot crucible mould, resists high temperatures and corrosion for melting, casting, and refining non-ferrous metals, including gold, silver, copper, brass, aluminum, and metalworking experiments,.
What will I get?
Material: Graphite
Outer Size: 45x10mm/ 1.8 inches x 0.4 inches (DxH)
Inner Size: 30 x 5mm/ 1.6 inches x 0.2 inches (DxH)
The product includes: 1pcs x Graphite Ingot Mould
Are there any advantages of the product?
High-purity graphite makes this crucible mould excellent for thermal conductivity, reducing melting time, nd withstanding temperatures up to 1600 degrees Celsius. Features super compression resistance and acid/alkali corrosion resistance for long-term reliability multiple times.
How to use it?
The non-stick graphite surface ensures easy release of ingot with no residue. Preheat the mould to enough temperature, and apply a light oil/soot coating. Melt the metal, and after it cools down, it can be extracted.
What should I notice?
Not suitable for carbon furnaces or charcoal kilns to avoid oxidation damage. Always use heat-resistant gloves and safety goggles. Store in a dry, dark place to prevent graphite degradation when not in use.
