Hatch works as good as day one., If the lock doesn’t function when the button is pressed, or if there is a buzzing noise in the tailgate when the button is pressed, the tailgate actuator-motor may be faulty. You need to replace your tailgate actuator. The tailgate lock actuator fits 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07 years., If your latch handle keeps breaking, it may be due to a sticking/old/rusted latch mechanism. So don't keep replacing handles, replace this part as it may be the cause of the problem., Note that you need to remove the locking solenoid module from the old part into the new one. Installation wasn't too bad as long as you have dismounted the trim on lift gate., This latch was pretty easy to install once the panel and trim was removed from the inside of the tailgate. See more
