The type of metal detected can be judged by the magnetic metal and non-magnetic metal icons displayed on the LCD screen (refer to the manual for details).
Step 1
Select the detection mode according to the type of object to be detected.
Step 2
Hold the wall detector against the wall for 3 seconds and wait for the instrument to finish calibrating itself.
Step 3
Move it evenly and slowly in the same direction to the left or right. Do not lift the instrument or apply additional pressure.
