They don't make these anymore.
It was a sad day when Benchmade discontinued the Nimravus. They enjoyed a very long run and underwent multiple iterations as one of the quintessential GWOT era tactical knives. Knife designer Elishwitz nailed the form factor with a graceful, sweeping drop point and arguably best in class handle ergonomics. The Nimravus not only has great looks but more than holds it's own as a working/fighting knife.
Along the way, Benchmade replaced the original G-10 handle scales with a more aggressive aluminum set. While still great, the G-10 were more rounded and didn't accumulate nicks and scratches the way aluminum does, aging better over time. G-10 handle scales are a signature feature of the earlier generations of this knife.
Of course, by the time the full sized Nimravus was discontinued, the smaller Nimravus Cub (or "NimCub") had already come and gone, making them even harder to find, not least because the smaller, handier versions of this blade retain all the features in a smaller package, without compromise. To their credit, the NimCub isn't just a shrunken version of the larger blade, everything was carefully scaled to make it stand on its own, without compromise. It's not just a companion piece, it's an amazing standalone design.
