the Dominican Republic to New York, franked with a mixed set of Dominican
stamps including the 10c airmail map issue and 2c + 5c Alcázar de Colón
designs. Clear Santo Domingo OCT 18, 1929, circular date cancel on front.
Reverse shows a bold black airmail routing
cachet (Santo Domingo–Port-au-Prince–Porto Rico–San Juan–Santiago de Cuba)
along with additional Dominican and U.S. receiving backstamps. Classic early
airmail usage on blue commercial envelope.
