For sale is a lot of five (5) Christmas candles by Tavern Candle from Socony-Vacuum Oil Company. The lot includes two (2) white angels standing 4 3/4" high with yellow hair and songbooks, blue eyes and a red dot for mouth; each has two silver stars on the gown. Three smaller pieces include a 2 3/4" high angel with yellow hair and a red mouth plus two (2) choir children, 2 3/4" high, with brown hair, black mouth, red bows and red gowns.

All five (5) pieces are in good vintage condition with some bumps and marks from storage. One of the tall angels is missing the upper part of wing (photograph 9) and the second is missing a small part of yellow wax hair (photograph 6). The children's red gowns appear to have bled upward, giving the upper part of the gown a pink color. The small candles have considerable dust especially on face of songbook (photograph 18). Each piece has the original cardboard warning tag on base with varying degrees of wear. Made in the USA.
