Description

This is an original pre-war Imperial Japanese Navy battleship interior cutaway blueprint —

a large technical diagram showing the internal layout and equipment of a Japanese capital ship.

The drawing illustrates in remarkable detail:

• ammunition magazines

• boiler rooms and engine spaces

• officer and crew quarters

• steering and internal passageways

• workshops, storerooms, medical areas

• main gun turret structure

• observation balloon equipment and the naval ensign

Such large interior cutaway diagrams were typically used as training material for naval cadets and technical personnel, helping them understand the layout of a warship from bow to stern.

Even though the sheet is heavily worn, the damage adds strong historical character.

There are tears, losses, stains, folds, and brittle areas, but the technical content remains visible and valuable for study.

Because very few of these large pre-war diagrams survived, they are highly sought after today by:

• warship historians

• naval collectors

• WWII researchers

• scale-model builders

• museums and archival institutions

A genuine pre-war Japanese Navy artifact with excellent display value.
