NIKON AIS NIKKOR 105mm f1.8 PRIME LENS - DAMAGED / SPARES / REPAIR / FAULTY
In well-used condition.
This is very worn and tatty with lots and lots of wear and rubs and marks all over. There are screws missing from the mount, which is very worn. The focus ring rubber is loose. The glass at the front has lots and lots of small, faint, "cleaning" type coating marks to it, although one or two are a bit heavier as I have tried to show in the images. There is a bit of coating etching around the edges of the front glass. The rear glass is much better and doesn't have many marks. Internally there is a lot of fine dust, but I cannot find any obvious fungus. There might be the odd, light etching to the outsides of the front glass maybe from some historic fungus that has since been wiped clear? The diaphragm stops down correctly. The issue appears to be that the focus ring is stuck fast and does not move. The gap between the bottom of the focus ring and the silver trim changes in size - the top and bottom pieces of the lens do not appear to be screwed together correctly to me? The lens knocks if shaken or tipped about in the hand, as the front element, which appears to be cemented to the black metal ribbed barrel part around it, moves forward and back maybe 2mm or so.
