Early vintage NASA AMES REASEARCH CENTER black and white glossy TYPE-1 photograph serial number A-31199-1 that features an image related to the Paraglider Research Vehicle 1-B (Paresev) program. 
The Paresev program used experimental aircraft. NASA tested the concept of a paraglider wing. The wing was initially considered for use as a landing system for the Gemini space capsules. The vehicle looked like a hang glider with a seat and controls.
