This vintage amazing Art Deco gold lame damask weave belted handkerchief hem high low dress dates from the 1930s. It is made of a luxurious gold metallic lame damask weave fabric with decorative woven Art Deco floral pattern designs. This gorgeous gold lavish lame dress has an asymmetric uneven handkerchief hem high low skirt lined underneath with a fuchsia pink silk fabric trim, is sleeveless with low rounded scoop necklines, a wrap style back top with belted front waist, gathered smocking along the sides and is fully lined with a black silk slip sewn inside. The dress measures 48 inches long in the front, 53 inches long in the back, with a 36 inch chest, 30 inch waist and 38 inch hips. It is in good condition, with only some faint tarnish discoloration patina in areas, underarms and slight fraying on the shoulder straps (see close-ups). This is truly an outstanding opulent piece of Art Deco wearable art!
