The advanced acrylic-based formulation is compatible with virtually all types of automotive paint finishes, including cellulose. It provides a tough, durable protective finish on metal, glass fibre or rigid plastic panels.

Note: Clear lacquer must be used on metal.

Directions for use:
 
Preparation:

• To achieve the best result always prepare the surface thoroughly.
• Do not spray into base metal, always use a primer.
• The last preparation stage before painting is to rub down the area with fine wet and dry abrasive paper.
• The surface must be free from dust and grease.
• Clean with warm water and detergent, rinse, then dry thoroughly.
• Protect surrounding areas using paper and masking tape.
  

• Ensure the can is at room temperature before use.
• For best results spray in warm, dry, dust free and windless conditions.
• Avoid spraying in cold, damp or humid weather, or in direct sunshine as the panels may be very hot.
• Shake the can vigorously for 2 minutes once the agitator ball is heard to rattle, this will ensure the contents are mixed thoroughly to give the best results and colour match.
• Spray briefly on an inconspicuous area or test material (card or paper) to check the colour. 
• Spray with the can approximately 25cm (10 in) from the surface using a smooth side to side motion.
• Build up the colour with several thin coats.
• Between coats allow approximately 15 minutes for the paint to become touch-dry.
• Shake the can between coats
  
  
• After use turn the can upside down and spray until the nozzle is clear, or, alternatively, remove the nozzle and soak in thinners.
  
  
• Always allow new paintwork to dry and harden for at least 2 weeks before using a rubbing compound on overspray to blend in new paintwork.
  
• Do not use rubbing compound on metallic or pearlescent paints that have not been oversprayed with lacquer. 
• Clear lacquer must be used on metallic or pearlescent paints to achieve the best colour match.
• Allow 24 hours for the paint to dry, rub the area down and then apply a clear lacquer.
