Baltic amber
is the oldest and rarest type of amber, extracted from the coasts of the Baltic Sea (especially in Lithuania and Poland).
It is characterized by a high percentage of succinic acid, which gives it therapeutic properties and a warm scent when rubbed.
Pressed amber
means that natural amber is collected from small pieces and then gently pressed under a specific temperature to form uniform beads.
This method preserves the amber's original composition but gives the rosary a more regular shape and balanced luster.
Heat Treated:
Heat is used in the treatment of amber to bring out deeper colors and a beautiful glassy luster, and may produce unique effects such as “microbubbles” or “light internal cracks” that add a special charm to each bead.
