The long-awaited clear blue vinyl edition of Tomoko Aran’s 1983 city pop masterpiece “Fuyuu Kuukan” (Floating Space) is finally here!
The album includes “Midnight Pretenders”, the song that gained worldwide attention after being sampled by The Weeknd on Out of Time.

Produced by Masatoshi Nishimura (FENCE OF DEFENSE), this album blends new wave, rock, and mellow city pop sounds with experimental touches.
Tracks like “I’m In Love,” “Midnight Pretenders,” and “Hannya” have become iconic favorites among new generations discovering Japanese city pop.

This reissue uses the 2022 restored hi-res audio source (96kHz/24bit) for high-fidelity sound and comes in limited clear blue vinyl—a perfect match for its transparent, atmospheric tone.
