The sphagnum moss chips have excellent water retention capacity and hold the moisture needed in the soil, while the perlite improves the drainage and aeration of the potting mix and promotes strong root growth.

Size: It's a 5.9 " x 5.9 " x 0.7 " small brick, there is much that is packed into the little package. It is made of 3 quarts of dried and fluffy sphagnum moss debris and perlites that have been manually compressed into small bricks.

Handpicked: The sphagnum moss debris and perlite in the mixture are carefully selected by hand, the sphagnum moss debris is dry, clean and free of clods and other unnatural debris, very few sticks (natural product, unavoidable), the perlite is manually selected to remove dust and small particles.
