This is a very nice artistic erotic photograph from France of circa the earlier 1900's at the latest. It was taken by the great photographer of erotica, Jean Agélou (1878-1921). His name is often spelled "Angélou". The image is sensual and evocative. An actual photograph, as was typical of the period, it was developed on matte postcard stock. The image has a beautiful sepia tone. Although very attractive, the photo shows some expected minor age wear with some small creased and bumped corners (please refer to the pictures). But there are no serious problems. All age issues aside, one cannot deny that this is a most handsome piece. Not mint, but beautiful. The photo measures approximately 3 ½ x 5 ½ inches.
