Finest of the Fine, looks like something Audrey Hepburn would have worn on the set of "Sabrina". Spectacular, Deadstock without Tags, Late 1940s-50s Cusp "New Look" Princess Coat, Black (likely) Silk Velvet (I doubt it's rayon, just FYI) which is All-Over Embroidered with Cotton Thread "Leaves", two lined pockets. Jeweled Paste Rhinestone Buttons at the Bertha Shawl Collar, (Yes, this looks exactly like Lilli Ann Coats of the same era), the only labels are the Exclusive Store Label at the inside collar and the Union Label at the interior side seam. Lined in Black Rayon Taffeta with Two Lined Front Pockets. Measures Chest 32-33", Waist 24", Free Hip, Sleeve 22", Shoulder to shoulder 15", Length rear nape seam to hem 43 1/2". I didn't put a super full crinoline under this for the photos but you can rest assured, the sweep of the skirt is ridiculously full. **You will NOT FIND NICER for a piece of this Early Age, the Construction is astounding, the Quality is unmatched, it is no doubt a very high end designer piece...BUY-IT-NOW!
