INTRODUCTION:

This book introduces Japanese tea room (Cha-no-yu houses) architecture with numerous drawings.


Chapter 1: 170 examples of plans of tea rooms ranging in size from 1.5 to 8 tatami mats. They are all of historic Tea rooms. Overhead views of famous tea rooms are also included.

Chapter 2: Drawings of famous tea rooms (about 13 examples) that have survived, based on actual measurements

Chapter 3: Drawings of famous tea rooms (about 11 examples) drawn from literature

Chapter 4: Details of the tea room architecture, including the ceiling, windows, nijiriguchi, tokonoma, mizuya, pillars, etc., are introduced with photographs and drawings.


All content is written in Japanese. The names and photo/drawing captions of the tea rooms and brief descriptions of some teahousesare also written in English.

We ship via Japan Post's International Registered Mail or FedEX International Economy Mail. We attach the tracking number. It will take 7-10 business days normally to arrive (Sometimes delay of delivery because it takes more time at customs.)  If you purchase the items (2 or more), we can ship them (items) together. After the usual payment procedure, we will refund the difference in shipping fee.



RETURN:
If you are not satisfied with the item received, you can return it (only 30days). In this case, we can only refund you back the purchase price and original shipping. Return shipping fee will be paid by buyer. All returned items must be in its original condition. If you cannot agree with our policy, you'd better not bid. If you find something wrong with the item, please contact me at first. We will do our best to solve the problem with you.
