Vintage Emerald Green Changeable Shot Silk Velvet Ruched Evening Gown

This vintage emerald green changeable shot silk velvet ruched evening gown dates from the 1940s. It is made of a luxurious dark emerald green color changeable shot silk velvet fabric with an iridescent sheen backed in blue and has ruched gathering details on the shoulder sleeves. This gorgeous green gown has a long floor length fitted style with the bodice coming down to a point in the front, ruched gathering along the squared neckline, long sleeves with ruched gathering at the cuffs, a key hole back hook closure at the neck, side zipper closure, shoulder padding and is unlined. The dress measures 59 inches long, with a 36 inch chest, 26 inch waist, 64 inch hips, 21 inch long sleeve and 14 inch back. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned, with a fade discoloration line along the bottom skirt (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
